KLIK extends screen mirroring beyond the network, with simultaneous live streaming services.

KLIK Communications, makers of the KLIK Boks line of wireless screen sharing systems, has announced that the KLIK Boks HUB is now shipping. Built on an all-new hardware platform, HUB delivers 4K UHD video and supports up to four full-HD streams in split-screen mode.

The device offers on-board session recording as well as Live Streaming to YouTube, for remote viewing and recording. With a built-in Guest Hotspot feature, HUB dramatically simplifies system design and deployment.

KLIK Boks HUB is our premium solution, for applications where quad-screen display and staff/guest simultaneous network access are key requirements” states CEO and Founder, Costa Lakoumentas

The HUB allows up to 4 presenters to screen-share in full-HD to a 4K screen, with negligible latency, at a full 60 fps. In addition, users can view the quad-display screen on their own device, in a browser window, as it happens.

That same view can be shared across an organization’s YouTube channel, in Private or Public mode, expanding the viewing audience well beyond the meeting room itself. Support for other streaming services will be added in Q2.

HUB also offers an HDMI input, allowing the integration of document cameras and other sources into the split-screen display

Aimed at business and education, HUB has been optimized for use with touch displays, offering a fluid on-screen UI over all controls. Moderated meetings and classes can be handled right from the touch display, with on-screen thumbnails of user content and intuitive access to screen sharing.

The KLIK Boks HUB carries a MAP price of US $649 and includes a handheld remote control and a 3-year warranty.
